The decks we use are Numark CDX Vinyl Turntables. These are linked to a Pioneer DJM700 Mixer
using midi and timecode to control a dual core pentium pc running VDJ through an M Audio Conectiv interface. This allows me to mix and scratch the way I always have with vinyl records, plus with all the added benefits of digital, like video, karaoke, and a huge music library.

I also carry spare parts, replacement cd players and old fashioned audio cds to every gig (just in case).
